Millbrook Homes – Project Experience
As a long-time seasonal visitor to Cape Cod, the dream of building a new “cottage” was a life-long quest. Pursuing the numerous options and soliciting multiple bids led to repeated frustrations given the premium of building on the “Cape and Islands”. Fortunately, we invited Millbrook Homes to bid the project, and we never looked back. Their comprehensive turn-key process offered the most affordable, timely, and site-friendly option. We were able to order our custom-designed Cape, built to our specifications, using Millbrook’s modular construction process. Cary Orlandi made sure we considered the various features available to our design/build, while often suggesting the best alternative. His experience in home design, construction materials and modern amenities enhanced the outcome. The team at Millbrook delivered – and although project delays from permits and engineering approvals posed early frustrations, house construction, delivery and finish were on target.
Being an out-of-town owner, we engaged a local project manager to oversee the activities. Collaboration was excellent, and the countless tasks along the way were effectively and professionally managed. Millbrook’s field team was superb – keeping our interests as the homeowner at the forefront of any challenges encountered in fit up or finish work. Added features and requested changes were fairly and properly completed in the best of construction standards. And when a pesky roof problem surfaced well after completion, the team at Millbrook made it an immediate priority to resolve. We were totally satisfied with Millbrook’s performance and how they stood behind their work.
Cary Orlandi and his team at Millbrook are reliable, trustworthy, and provide high quality craftmanship. We would welcome the opportunity to build another home with Millbrook Homes.

Tony and I would like to let you know how much we appreciate everything you have done for us in our decision to add an 800 square foot in-law apartment to our daughter’s house.
This was a very slow decision-making process for us. We did not have any concept of how living in a module home would be. You were so patient in walking us through each and every step. You never made us feel like we were wasting your time (even when we were not 100% sure that we would be happy going this route).
The approval time from our town was a bit slow; however, you kept us abreast of each discussion you had with them so we always knew what the updated status was.
From clearing the land, digging the foundation, preparing for delivery of our in-law apartment, to the actual setting of our home, each and every one of your employees were professional and very respectful of our feelings and answered each and every question we had without ever making us feel that it was not important.
Your follow-up visits to make sure we were 100% satisfied with the final product went above and beyond what we expected from you.
